Dreamers Entwined

The water is deep

If you look right into it

Life abounds within and without

Touch one finger to its silky smooth surface

And watch the rings ripple ever outward

Standing above it many ripples dwell

All of the motion we create with our thoughts

Deeper we go into the heart of the water

Dreaming, colliding so easily we flow

Drifting on love's tides is never superficial

And love requires no bodily sacrifice

It's only the ego that has no place here

Giving of love as a rose gives her fragrance

The fire blooms within so long as that is your focus

Letting loose the chains that bind your own mind

Together we've traveled such a long distance

To this point in time where we find no hesitation

The water is cool and the heart of her beckons

Back to the place where our love once was born

And there do we hold it forever enfolded

Time echoes not one resistant thought

Flowers in bloom with the sun as it rises

So many have we seen throughout the ages

And here do we rest before the next calling
